Bank made error with cash and now I'm missing money?

The bank DID NOT make an error. YOU made an error. There is NO possible excuse for EVER taking ANYONE'S word about how much cash YOU are handling. The INSTANT the money left his hand without YOU verifying the amount, any shortage became 100% YOUR fault.
